In a nutshell we are wedding planners, wedding stylists, problem solvers, creative thinkers, stress busters and fun-loving wedding junkies!!
We totally get just how overwhelming and demanding planning a wedding can be. Our wedding planning, wedding design and wedding prop hire services have been created to support and guide couples through the challenges, stress and occasional madness of organising a wedding!
At The Wedding Festival we love nothing more than to work closely with couples to create stunningly beautiful weddings reflecting their personalities and unique style. We get to know all of our couples really well and become your "go to" people to solve the problems, alleviate the stress, create innovative solutions and importantly ensure that you have precious time to spend with each other and your families and friends in the busy lead up time to your wedding.
The Wedding Festival founders are Melanie and Isobel. Melanie is the creative one and Isobel is the practical one - together we provide the complete package! We are very client focused and budget conscious. We are best known for our attention to detail, can-do attitude and fun sense of humour. We like to push ideas and do things that might be a little bit alternative and lots of fun! We bring buckets loads of enthusiasm and energy to each event we plan, style and create.
We love weddings and we love what we do!! All of our best decisions have been made at the kitchen table over tea and cake. We laugh a lot and really enjoy working together and get a great buzz from organising fun & fabulous weddings and events.

Hi I'm Melanie, the Chief Stylist and Co-founder of The Wedding Festival. I am a mother of three, wife to James, owner of one dog and one cat and chief manager of one very chaotic house in the country. I would describe myself as a multitasker, creative, tea addict, optimist, wannabe clean freak, night owl and collector of good times, great laughs and long chats!!
I really enjoy what I do at The Wedding Festival. I love the challenge of creating something unique, personal and fabulous. Every day at The Wedding Festival is different and fun with plenty of laughs, chat and pots of tea! I've always loved the whole creative process and working with colours, patterns and textures. Being a Stylist means I get to do this every day and much more - who wouldn't love this job!?
Not many people know that I just love ‘old stuff’ – collectables, antiques and odd bits. My home is full of old china, props and interesting items. Some call it hoarding I call it filling my home with character and personality!
Hi there I'm Isobel - Planner in Chief and Co-founder of The Wedding Festival. I would describe myself as a sorter of chaos, time keeper, list maker, problem solver and straight talker! I'm a wife to Liam and mum of 3 kids - 2 smallies and a teenager, taxi driver, sports line supporter, occasional reader, wannabe baker, perfectionist, part time (slow!) runner, wine drinker and food lover!!
I love the fact that no two days are ever the same at The Wedding Festival. I get a great kick from meeting lots of happy couples; the laughs, the love, the romance keep me smiling. Making and checking off the endless lists, working to tight deadlines, keeping calm when behind the scenes it might not be (!), the planning of and creating fun and fabulous events has turned The Wedding Festival into my dream job!
Not many people know that I want to live by the sea (country optional), however this could all change tomorrow...
